the celestial nature of a dandelion

every spring i am reminded of the analogy of a dandelion to the sun, moon, and stars.
every spring i am delighted with the infinite nature of nature, as those stars are carried by wishes.

and every wish, becomes a reality.
i love using this time each year to reflect on all that’s been accomplished and all that’s to come. winter offers that warm cocoon to dream and prepare, then spring brings it all to life. the energetic shift that everyone feels.
i love the collective buzz.

this year i have a lot of friends in transition. leveling up in their careers, making moves, deepening commitments… it’s a lot of really good stuff. like, people are finally taking a stand for themselves.
to not just claim what they want, to go out and get it.
it’s letting go of the stories, the patterns, the unconscious living. making moves with meaning.

ya know, the dandelion may have another message for us here. these are plants with some purpose!
from the root to the crown, there’s deep symbolism for life. with a penetrating, singular root, dandelion shows focus. it purifies and cleanses, nourishing the liver and ridding the body of excess. it’s broad leaves, bitter to the taste and balancing to the spirit. a good reminder that sometimes the unpleasant things in life are given to us for the better. and that bright beautiful flower, providing the first food for young bees.
when we allow ourselves to bloom, we give nourishment to everyone around us.

also, friendly tip: you can infuse those flowers with a carrier oil and use it to make a first aid salve for bites and scrapes. nature is always looking out for us!

i just feel so grateful. to be where i’m at right now, sharing these plants with you. we made a new blend called ‘when life gives you dandelions’ and it just really makes me happy. it’s bright and calming with a delicate balance of lemon and lavender, rooted with dandelion. it’s the perfect blend to revitalize your senses and support you through the seasonal transition. made with a lotta love and will be enjoyed while frolicking through some mountains probably.
dare you to do the same!

stay wild my friends,
hannah
